Horizons

Horizons is centered around approaching photography within Australia that is totally void of anything other than the chase for amazing light, colour and composition.

This project was a set of three separate photography trips within Australia between 2012 and 2016. The ethos was centered around truly disappearing for months at a time, to visit and photograph some of the most remarkable places within this country. Each trip was focused around nothing other than photography and having the freedom to truly explore and create.

  • 33,000 kilometers traveled

  • Each Australian state visited and photographed

  • 9 months on the road in total

  • 380 rolls of film used

The photographs captured during this amazing journey are a representation of our world slowed down, thoughtfully created and composed over periods of total immersion in our surroundings.
